This evening’s wedding was held at the Admiral Baker Clubhouse and golf course. I started off with providing the ceremony music and microphones outside on the patio. After the ceremony guests moved to the other end of the patio for the cocktail hour with a great view of the golf course. Once inside the ballroom I projected a slide show that they created. It was a nice way to start off the reception. I then announced our newly married couple into the room. They went to their sweetheart table and I invited their best man and maid of honor up to start off the toasts. After the meal dancing began with their first dance to: “Bless The Broken Road” – Rascal Flatts. We cut the cake after about 45 minutes of solid dancing. They had one of the most unique cake knife and server sets I have seen yet. It was an organic shaped set by Nambé and can be seen in the picture below. Tonight was another amazing night on the dance floor. Sometimes a Sunday night wedding will not have the same type of party atmosphere as a Saturday night wedding. This definitely was not the case with this group. They kept it going until 10pm ending time. They had a blast singing along with the last dance song our couple picked out: “Bohemian Rhapsody” – Queen. It was one of the best “last dances” I’ve seen at a wedding.
