I first started out in Del Mar over at Seagrove Park for the ceremony. It was beautiful out on the grass near the ocean. After the ceremony I had to pack up and head out to the Rancho Bernardo Inn for the reception in the Santiago Ballroom. It was sort of a crazy drive at 5:30pm on a Friday but I made it without any problems. Cocktail hour was held out on the patio so I provided a small speaker system with some excellent background music they selected. The reception held inside the ballroom went off without any glitches. We showed two different slide shows during the first and third course of dinner. It was nice to spread them out a little. Dancing went pretty well tonight. A funny highlight moment was when the wedding party did a choreographed dance to “Thriller” from Michael Jackson. The room was a little warm so everyone ended the night outside on the patio (over at the bar). Darryn St. John shot the photography. It is always a pleasure to work with him.
